The Washington monument reminds me of Fugazi and the Season 3 episode of the Simpsons where they go to DC for Lisa's Reader's Digest essay competition.
Things seen in DC so far: A group of 3 15 year old nerdish republican boys talking about "typical liberals." Bums sleeping on the benches near the 'Ellipse.' Middle fingers extended in the direction of the white house.
